Meet the Staff


Dr. Paul Collard


Paul was born in Lagos Nigeria, schooled in Wales, and graduated from the University of Bristol dental program in 1971. He married Ann in 1972 and emigrated to Vanderhoof a month after. They have three children who all live and work in the local area. Ever since he has been hard at work improving the dental health of the area. He has special interests and expertise in root canal work, crown and bridge, orthodontics and children’s dentistry.

Other interests include local provincial and international winter sport. Paul was the competition chief for biathlon at the 2010 Winter Olympics, and will be head official for the 2015 Canada Games in Prince George. He is also busy with fishing and hunting, motorcycles and flying the local area, and of course the grandchildren!

Dr. Winnie Chan


Winnie was born in Suriname, South America, and grew up in Montego Bay, Jamaica. 
In 2001, she moved to Canada to study Biochemistry and Psychology at U of T, and then Dentistry at UBC.

She then completed a one-year residency program for her special interest in pediatric dentistry at BC Children’s Hospital. Her other professional interests are esthetics and implant dentistry.

Her other interests include tennis, skiing, and traveling. She is married to one of the local family physicians in Vanderhoof and they enjoy spending time with their dog, Sammy.  

Hygienists


Hazel McComb


Dental Hygiene has been part of Hazel’s life for many years, and she brings meticulous skills, and a warm personal approach to her patients. She has two children that keep her busy in her spare time

Diane Horita


Diane returns to our office as a Hygienist after several years as a CDA. We are pleased to welcome her back with new clinical skills  as well as her great interpersonal warmth. She is living in Prince George, and volunteers at the Pain Clinic there. Her cat and husband keep her busy at home.

Dental Assistants



Janet Neufeld


At the chairside you will meet Janet. She has many years experience as a Certified Dental Assistant, and is working in the office that treated her as a child! Look out for her on the ice as a keen speed skater and hockey player.


Kristina Tangaro


C.D.A. Kristina is a recent graduate from the CNC Dental program in Prince George, and has a special interest in the Implant area of the practice. She enjoys all social activity, and is a lifelong runner. She also has a special connection with shoes.


Danielle Bolduc


The most recent addition to the team, Danielle is also a CNC grad. and is rapidly learning terrific skills in dental assisting.

Front Desk



Allison Watters


Allison is the Business Manager for accounts and dental plans as well as handling all the duties organising the front desk. She and Trish are the voices you will hear on the phone. She is the longest serving of the staff, starting here in 1982. Her interests are curling and golf. Both of which she excels at. 


Trish Dyck


Trish is a very experienced Certified Dental Assistant, acting mostly as the Treatment Co-ordinator. She handles all your technical questions, makes the appointments and organises everything else in the office!
